Food
We believe in nature positive farming to produce better meat & dairy, fruit, veg & pulses.
What do we mean by better?
Food sourced from nature positive farming.
Nutrient dense food that is naturally nutritious.
Whole or minimally processed food that avoids synthetic, chemically derived ingredients.

Food sourced from nature positive farming
We believe the most important choice we can make is to select food from 'nature positive' farming systems. We refer to this as farming based on 'soil not oil' - but to use the technical term - we take an agroecological approach. At Yeo Valley Farms, we follow regenerative organic farming, an agroecological approach widely accepted as the pinnacle of nature positive farming. Our supplying farms adopt an agroecological approach using organic standards governed by law.

Nutrient dense food

Nutrient dense food
We believe that food choices should prioritise foods that are naturally nutritious - foods that include healthy, naturally occurring proteins, fats and sugars.

Whole or minimally processed

Whole or minimally processed
We believe that food choices should prioritise foods that are whole or minimally processed. For us, this means using physics, chemistry and biology in a smart, specialised and complementary way in the production of healthy food. Avoiding synthetic, artificially derived chemical ingredients and prioritising the use of biology that gives rise to beneficial health outcomes.
