Our Ambitions

Doing things differently for decades

The journey of our food - from sourcing to production and disposal - has major environmental and social consequences. At Yeo Valley, we've always tried to do things differently to produce natural healthy food that's better for our customers and our planet.

As farmers, we know first-hand the impact climate change is having - the challenges have never been greater. On our Yeo Valley farms we've been organic farming for over 30 years - but we always look to go further. For the past five years, we've adopted a regenerative organic farming approach that prioritises whole farm ecology, and we've established one of the largest agroforestry projects in the UK.

Across our production facilities, over the past 20 years, we've reduced our carbon footprint by around 40% by making energy efficiencies in refrigeration and utilising heat recovery. And we're always looking for new ways to generate and use renewable energy, installing over 10,000 solar panels on our production sites.

Looking ahead, we've set three ambitions for the business around Food, Climate and Nature to keep us rooted in our passion for natural healthy food made the right way.
